Handmade with Traditional Detail

Each Thalikodi is individually prepared after your order is placed. The Thali, coins and Thadai are carefully added, and the clasp is securely fixed during assembly.

As every piece is handmade, slight variations in finish, shape, detailing and placement may occur. These are natural characteristics of handcrafted jewellery and are not considered defects or damage.

Important Clasp Information

The Thalikodi clasp is designed to resemble the traditional clasp used on genuine gold Thalikodi jewellery.

However, this gold-plated version does not have a screw mechanism.

The clasp is permanently fixed to the kodi and cannot be unscrewed or detached.

Please do not attempt to remove or unscrew the clasp, as this may damage the jewellery.

Each Thalikodi is made to order and individually prepared for you.

It is supplied fully assembled and ready to wear.

Because each piece is handmade, no two pieces may be exactly identical. Minor variations are part of the handmade character of the jewellery.

It is a traditional-style jewellery piece designed to recreate the appearance of a genuine gold Thalikodi using a brass base with a 22ct gold-plated finish.

Kasu and Thadai are loose and freely movable by design.

- Keep separate from other jewellery to help prevent scratches.

Gold plating can naturally fade or wear over time depending on use, exposure to moisture, sweat and chemicals. Careful handling and proper storage will help maintain the finish for longer.
